This is the smallest and in some ways, the prettiest of the Phlegrean islands.
There is a strong centuries-old seafaring tradition here, while the original character of the village centre and environment have been preserved, with its picturesque white and pinks houses which have a particular charm.
The Abbey Church of St.Michael will well repay a visit.
